This is a list of significant programs underway
with a brief comment on their status:
- Lake Host Program - Approved by the NH Lakes Association and the
state of NH. We currently have 7 people trained and have been manning
the boat ramp in Rindge on weekends since Memorial Day.
- Lake Lowering Project - We are basically "on-hold" with the Town
of Jaffrey and their concerns about contamination leaching into the
town well field near the Woodbound Inn. Nobody can guarantee it will
happen or won't happen if the lake is lowered as it was for many
years.
- Lake Treatment - Our application was approved by the State of NH
and treatment was done on June 9. We continue to monitor the results
and watch for new infestations.
- Lake Water Quality Testing - Our next testing will be done in June
